FAQ

How do I know if I have a .9mm or a 1.4 cord?

Generally speaking, older blinds will have ether one or two cords going through the holes in the shade they are usually the .9mm cord replace them with 1.4mm and use only 1 cord per hole.   Newer blinds are 1.4 mm.  If in doubt, you are better off buying the 1.4 mm cord as a replacement.

How do I make sure I measure properly?

If you are replacing an old shade, take it down and look on the top rail, the correct size is usually written on the top.   If Not, measure the width of the shade, and from were it was mounted at the top, measure to the center of the hold down spool for the length.  If this is an all new shade measure from the top of the window frame or to the top of the cornice if you have one, and then bottom of the aluminum frame add 3 Inches to the length of your shade this can be adjusted when installed.

Can I return the blinds if they are wrong?
